Subject to paragraph 2, this Agreement shall apply to the territory in which the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union are applicable and to the territory of Azerbaijan.

Either Party may give written notice of its intention to denounce this Agreement.

Either Contracting Party may terminate this Agreement by giving notice of termination in writing to the other Contracting Party.

Notwithstanding paragraph 4, the EC Party and Ghana may apply the Agreement, in whole or in part, before provisional application, to the extent that this is possible under their domestic law.

Notwithstanding any suspension of this Agreement, personal data falling within the scope of this Agreement and transferred prior to its suspension shall continue to be processed in accordance with this Agreement.

This Agreement shall apply, on the one hand, to the territories to which the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union is applied and under the conditions set out in that Treaty and, on the other hand, to the territory of Chile.

Accession to the Convention

Any State or the European Union may, at the time of signature or when depositing its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, specify the territory or territories to which this Protocol shall apply.
